This farm isn't just a dream - it's a legacy.
After losing my dad to cancer, I used my very unexpected inheritance to start my Highland cattle herd, turning heartbreak into something truly meaningful.
Creekside Highland Legacy was built with love, dedication, and a deep respect for the Highland breed.
Our Story
Highland cattle have been a lifelong dream of Lori’s, and in March 2021, that dream became a reality. Thanks to an unexpected inheritance from my father, we purchased our first Highlands and began building Creekside Highland Legacy.
Before Highlands, we spent a few years raising commercial cattle, and Shawn’s background growing up on a dairy farm gave us a strong foundation in cattle care and management. But from the moment we brought Highlands into our lives, we knew they were something truly special.
At Creekside Highland Legacy, we are dedicated to breeding high-quality AHCA registered Highlands with a focus on conformation, temperament, and breed integrity. Apart from the Highlands, we also raise commercial angus and F1 baldies, along with a select few other cattle, always prioritizing structure, health, and the well-being of every animal in our program.
We are beyond grateful to live this dream every day!
