Highland cattle have been a lifelong dream of Lori’s, and in March 2021, that dream became a reality. Thanks to an unexpected inheritance from her father, we purchased our first Highlands and began building 𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐤𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐋𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐜𝐲.
Before Highlands, we spent a few years raising commercial cattle, and Shawn’s background growing up on a dairy farm gave us a strong foundation in cattle care and management. But from the moment we brought Highlands into our lives, we knew they were something truly special.
At 𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐤𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐋𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐜𝐲, we are dedicated to breeding 𝐡𝐢𝐠𝐡-𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐫𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝 with a focus on 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐛𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲.. We also raise commercial angus and F1 baldies, along with a select few other cattle, always prioritizing structure, health, and the well-being of every animal in our program.
